The EA Boot camp course is designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to individuals entering an architecture-related role and/or needing a basic understanding of enterprise architecture (EA) concepts.
This four-day course equips delegates with the foundational knowledge needed to participate in EA initiatives. The course also serves as a basis for future training in the field. The EA Boot camp is divided into three parts:
Part 1 introduces and defines the concept of EA and positions it within the organizational context. It examines the problems that we are trying to solve with EA and shows how EA provides business with an enhanced return on its IT investments.
Part 2 focuses on EA methodology. It covers the official TOGAF® 9 Foundation training curriculum that includes an overview of the framework and instruction on how to apply it.
Part 3 is an opportunity for delegates to practically apply their knowledge gained during the first three days of the course. Delegates use ArchiMate® , The Open Group's modeling language for EA, to build entry-level architectures as part of a case study exercise.
Enterprise architects, Information architects, Technology architects, Application architects, System integrators, Business analysts, Process modelers, Project managers and other business/technical specialists developing EA.
